**** Mech Warrior 3 & 4
In Mech Warrior, you are the pilot of an individual mech within the Battletech universe. The game is similar to a flight simulator, but your feet never leave the ground (at least most of the time). This is more of an action game than a strategy game, but it still involves an element of strategy. You must figure out the best approach to accomplishing each mission. You are able to outfit your mech with a selection of weapons and equipment. As the campaign progresses, additional types of weapons and items of equipment become available. The graphics are 3 dimensional. Although the graphics in Mech Warrior 4 are far superior to Mech Warrior 3, the missions in Mech Warrior 3 are actually much more interesting and challenging.
